★He was a YG Entertainment trainee (1 year and half) before moving with his team to yuehua to debut in the Chinese-Korean group UNIQ (16 oct 2014) that stopped promoting bc of strained China-Korea relations..the chinese members Zhou Yixuan,Li Wenhan and Wang Yibo are now doing solo activities in China and the leader of the group (Sungjoo) enlisted on March 2020.

★His solo stage name used to be Luizy, but he changed it to WOODZ in 2018, reflecting changes in musical direction. His latest releases as WOODZ, delved into alternative R&B then pop, featured his transitioning from rap to vocals.

★He originally debuted as a main rapper in UNIQ then main vocalist and rapper in X1.

★He speaks Korean, Chinese, Portuguese,English and a little bit of Tagalog.

★He can play piano and guitar.

★seungyoun likes to do an ig live at midnight when he is making songs to communicate with fans.

★His favorite sports: soccer, baseball, basketball and tennis.
